Scientific study has its place in the development of technologies which ease the suffering of ourselves and those not fortunate enough to have been born in a rich, free and clean nation like America, but scientific extremism and its adherents, militant atheists, have no place dictating cultural and social norms in America!
Modern Science is extremely limited in scope and methods. Consider our inability to scientifically examine even our own bodies, certain lines of cells perform biochemical functions in our lymphatic system which remain a complete mystery to our best anatomists. We have couched the most important scientific 'theory' in the last century, Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection, in the flimsiest framework of half-guesses and intuitions and imagined evidence but have subscribed so completely, so blindly, that contradictory evidence is rejected out of hand without due consideration! The imperfection of our biochemical and genetic research, so hindered by our inability to address the staggering complexity of systems which cannot have evolved independently of one another, and an almost offensively incomplete picture of the supposed origin of life from inorganic material on ancient earth, the theory of abiognesis is so utterly unconvincing that it requires little more than a glance before any talk of polymerization of simple nucleic acids or the abiotic synthesis of organic molecules simply falls apart! Consider that 93% of the universe is composed of exotic matter and energy the nature of which we cannot begin to comprehend! Where have the unfailing tools of reason and deduction gotten us really, when according to the cultural priesthood of atheist reductionists these tools are key to our prosperity and understanding?
Scientists are narrow technocrats, useful tools in developing technology and finding solutions to limited material problems, but useless for most else. No, for the leadership of our society to fall into the hands of those who would squander our meager time and resources on the investigation of questions far removed from the experiences and interests of the American electorate would be disastrous, and perhaps that disaster is already well-reflected in our society's moral bankruptcy, the death of our collective spirit.
Reason and materialism will take us only so far. The Republican party, one of the last bastions of true American pride and leadership, should look past this recent insignificant loss and look towards the future, positioning itself for the cultural awakening that is awaiting us, I believe, in the first half of the coming century: The American electorate will realize soon how our nation has been hijacked by narrow-minded scientists and they will look for leadership in the only other places it exists: In the dominant cultural institutions of this country, and in America that is the evangelical churches of Christianity.
The GOP would do well to align themselves not with the materialists whose time is limited, but instead to embrace its core strength and future potential in the Christian churches, where the divine will of the creator of this universe might guide us on a righteous path of genuine understanding of the universe around us, rather than the incompetent attempts of those who would see the world around us as a spiritless void fit only for our domination and exploitation.
Embracing the hopeful promise of faith rather than the hopeless despair of scientific extremism is the future of America, and therefore the future of the GOP.
