KateM, The whole deal about single women being pro-life is a huge myth. It is just a lazy excuse. I and the single women I know are pro-life or just shrug it off. Single women are sick of budgeting grocery bills and see the chick from the trailer park buy junk food with food stamps.

MBF, I think you are one of these trolls.

  2. The fiscal message of Republicans is 1) increasing concentration of wealth is "natural", but anything to reverse or even slow that destabilizing trend is "class warfare" and 2) govt exists to socialize losses while privatizing profits.

What success Republicans have had with most single women is that they have been able to conceal or mislead about their real fiscal message.

  3. Republicans DID get a fiscal message out to single women! They said FORGET a single-payer healthcare system; Republicans want to risk social security or kill it; if you live in a poor neighborhood expect BAD schools for your kids; and we'll leave you and your kids with a debt-ridden country.

  4. Don't forget, single women are also usually pro-choice. Inflexibility on this issue will mitigate any gains in this demographic that might be made by adopting a different economic message. For example, our recent nominee likely turned off a number of single women by scoffing at the idea of protection for women whose health or life is threatened by a pregagncy.
