The next RNC Chairman should...

Reach out to Ron Paul and the Campaign for Freedom

The younger generation is overwhelmingly turning away from the social conservative platform perpetuated by what they see as "old, grumpy, white guys"
Instead they are turning by the thousands to people such as Ron Paul and his Campaign for Freedom to give them fresh perspective and a new outlook on the way a government should be run.

Ron Paul already has mobilized the younger generation through the use of the internet (just check out facebook and see who the most supported candidate was through the primaries)...

If the RNC ignores this youthful, strong, and passionate subset of the population, the party will increasingly become less relevant as these young people grow up.

        Part three

Will the Republican party push the rest of us to the side who promote sound economic policy by using free market principle, such as the Austrian theory of economics and the business cycle, or continue toward socialism?

        Part two

However, I must say after reading this idea, I will not state my age, but I will say I am currently a minor, in 2011 I plan to get registered for the 2012 election, the only two parties I plan to register under if any, are the Libertarien and Republican parties.

        Part One

My fear is that the same thing will happen here as will with the obama administration, obama promised change, but the most change that will come will be four quarters to the dollar.

I see here that a lot of you spend more time chating but do you know
        what's going on around you.
In order to understand you need to spend more time searching the truth
        to take on your enemy.
Wars are won on one step at a time so we need to take one step at a time
and tak our enemy at his own game and win back our liberty.

Victorstar, the reason he lost and the reason he was 'ridiculed' by the republican party are the same. He can't connect to people. Yes, his messege is great. Yes, he is a consevative. The American people don't care about what you say, they only care about how you say it, and how you look when you say it. Look at our next pres. Did he say anything substantive during the campaign?

I ran for a local office in Indiana has a Libertarian. Without Ron Paul 's inspiration and message of actually limiting goverment, I more than likely would have sat on my rear. Thanks Dr Paul!!

The approach of the GOP to Ron Paul Republicans is remeniscent of the Vatican "embracing other denominations." The Vatican had no intention of changing any of its policies - it just put on some costume jewelry to pull people from other denominations "back into the fold," without providing real admission of wrongdoing or making any actual adjustments to policy.

        Beware of GOP "concessions."

It is not really about Ron Paul, it is his message. Ron Paul did not raise that much money via his own efforts. People got excited that someone which just happened to be Ron Paul was actually speaking the truth about our situation and stood behind true conservative values of smaller government and actually stood behind the constitution so they gave to his campaign. It was the message !!

"religious right" and Christianity in is not about is about not conforming actually, rather than going with what everyone else is doing the Bible tells us to "be not of this world" I'd say mainstream politics and life is about conformity. Btw I am a 20 year old Christian with 3/4" gauges, my nose pierced and my lip pierced not to mention tattoos how that for conformity

OK, I keep seeing people including the RNC praise Paul solely on his ability to raise money. I will concede the fact that many here don't want Paul as the next POTUS but please explain to me then how he was able to raise the money in the first place? If raising money is so important then explain why he was so effective at doing it, bearing in mind he did very little fundraising himself.

Thats not why he lost tamcamry. I am not saying he would have won. But his major loss was because he was ridiculed by the republican party, constantly bashed for having a different view, even though he is more conservative than the rest. All throughout our history, people like Ron Paul, Goldwater, and Taft have been targets for media. And media along with the RNC destroyed him. He delivered fine

Look, I really appreciate the things R. P. did during the election. I think his campaign is the model for how to run things on the internet, and I agree with him on many fiscal issues. He's just not the guy to win though. We need someone who does a better job of connecting face to face and on TV. Yes, that is superficial, but that's why he lost.

The religious right has caused the complete collapse of the GOP. Americans are much smarter than you think. How can the GOP espouse rugged individualism when you have a CONFORMIST group in control? Everything about religion is SUBMISSION and CONFORMITY!!!!!! The GOP is nothing but a big bucket of hypocrisy and Americans can see right through it's veil.

Liberty is taking a beat-down, so the Republic can't afford to wait for the torch to be passed to us. We're going to have to use political-chloroform in order to slip it right out of their grubby fingers. They have the money and power for now, all we need are the numbers. Anything can be overwhelmed by numbers and those numbers are exponentially more powerful when advocating individual freedom.

        What does "under review" mean?

You know what? Nothing we say here is going to make any difference. The GOP's stance is, "New ideas are welcome, so long as they are the same as ours." That's true even if the "new" ideas are the old Republican ideas of individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, and international non-intervention.

Open "The Plan" on the main page, and search for "Ron Paul."

I believe there is a place for everyone in a Constitutional Republic unless you are a parasitic, globalist, big-government type. Social conservatives should be made to feel welcome in this scenario. Everyone has to know their limits. The neocons belong in another country, like Nazi Germany. Oh wait, there is no more Nazi Germany. Sorry Neocons, I guess the world will have to get along without you.

We have already proven ourselves to be the future of the GOP. If the Republican Party wants a chance at avoiding being made irrelevant, it is going to pass the torch to us. The Bush administration, through deficit spending, increasing the size of the government, bailouts, and nation-building, has shown us that they are in no way conservative. Paul captured single-day fundraising record- $6 mil!
