Support Newt Gingrich's ideas - They worked before

Newt Gingrich got America's attention with the "Contract For America" when he was speaker of the house. He now has "American Solutions" which has many positive ideas for the future.

We need a new contract and not be afraid to tell the world about it. Restructuring the party... more

  1. This is a new era. They won't work now. You need to look forward, not backward.

  2. T. Boone Pickens' plan is a scam. He has "suspended" the only meaningful part of it--wind power--leaving only his ridiculous "natural gas as fuel for automobiles" idea, which happens to dovetail nicely with his own fossil-fuel holdings.

Otherwise, though, there are some good ideas here.

  3. Now that is rich!

  4. The only problem with Gingrich is his "Reagan denial."
He said that we had to "redefine" conservatism. I don't care to redefine it, we tried "compassionate conservative" and got 100 billion to Goldman Sachs, unreigned fuel prices and the election hand delivered to the most radical leftist in the history of the nation.

Reagan is the new Bitch, Black!

  5. Newt is as bad as all the other tainted politicians in DC now. He's morally bankrupt... ideas not withstanding. Like McCain he believes he's entitled. He had his chance in '94 and blew it! Let him serve the party and earn my trust back.

  6. As long as the rhetoric is backed up with action, this might work -- the problem is that Newt and the 1994 Congressional Republicans sailed into office on the strength of the Contract With America, then promptly worked on a number of agendas that had nothing to do with the Contract. We lost 13 seats in two years after abandoning the principles that swept us to power.

Newt's family history makes McCain seam moral and honest. The guy is as bad for Republicans as Rush and the rest of the neocon radio bobbleheads.

Call Obama's "tax cut" what it really is -- welfare -- and educate all hard-working Americans that if Obama's plan goes through, almost half of Americans (42%) will be on the dole. Is that where we want to take this country? Whatever happened to wanting welfare reform and making people work? Now people are excited because Obama is going to pay their mortgage and put gas in their car.
