Stop "Reaching Across the Aisle" to pass Big Spending Bills

If you think the Dems are crazy Socialists, then why are you so eager to create legislation with them?

We need fewer spending bills, if you're more worried about looking "mean" than sticking to principles, then say no to Pelosi with a smile. I'm glad the election's over, because I co... more

Yesterday I was rewinding an old video tape I found behind the sofa and when it got to the beginning, it made that "rruhh rruhh rruhh" sound, you know? And it's been so long since I watched a tape I didn't even realize what was going on! I go to the bedroom and I says "hon, do you hear that?", and then she had to tell me and she didn't even know I put it in the rewinder!

I disagree. We need honest people in there to vote their conscience regardless of party.

I like what Ron Pual in his campaign had to say and he did a good job
But the we need to do away with Electoral voting system and get back to the
hand count it was working for years.
Ron Pual on foreign policy will be the best way to go.

The model is there on how to achieve a super majority. Hyper partisenship. We need to call for investigations on every dem we can, we need to use examples like saying the dems will cause old people to eat dog food or that there security policies will kill American children becasue of attacks. This is how the left wins. They have no morals or ethics. Look at what they've done in comments below

tada: I agree. We need to bring the intellectualism back to the party. We need our leaders to be more like William F. Buckley (or George Will) and less like Rush Limbaugh.

I think that non partisan revolution in our party has made us weak. Here is what we need to do. Make sure everyone knows WHY we disagree with Obama and the democrats and WHY we think that they wrong. This entire election cycle, McCain and other Republicans simply preached that their opponent was wrong rather than give a detailed explanation to why they were wrong. Our strategy must be modified

i agree towards the end there was some ear marks but sometimes ear marks are designed to aid the minority party who other wise could get nothing to stimulate the economy of their constituents however with that said we have some very viable big bills i.e. cleaning up ten blocks in nyc after 911, trying to kill the enemy, hurricanes, etc etc

Great idea. Republicans have to reclaim limited government & fiscal responsibility - too many abandoned it from 2000-2006 & the Dem takeover was the result. Restoring limited government fiscally responsible conservatism & keeping Strong national defense & conservative social values is the winning combination

We need to learn from Clinton here.
SAY we are GOING to reach out in a non partisan way.
Then demand complete and total surrender from the other side.
When they ask "can we please have food and water in prison?" (like the Republicans do lately), then we SCREAM partisanship and feign injury like a kicker in the NFL to whom someone got close after kick!
Say reach out, then stab any hands we see!

  16. Default-avatar

We need to pass a spending bill to shore up truck nutz production if we are ever going to regain power.
