embrace science

I want us to become the party of science again: embrace evolution, stem cell research, genetics, space exploration. the future.

  1. By the way, so much for your fossils and biology and DNA and geology and "evidence", I have a grade school-level understanding of science and a Bible. You know it's true because it's been written down from THE OLDEN TIMES, and not in some pantywaist hoity toity "Journal".

  2. Hey smart-guy science types, listen up. Know where you can learn more than in any "scientific journal". That's right, THE BIBLE, chumps. If you read it, you will see that all of your liberal positions are thoroughly refuted. At work, sometimes a scientist will tell me about science crap" and even though I don't understand a word, I just give him this smug little smirk, you know why? GENESIS.

I'll embrace science as long as it doesn't make me take responsibility for my choice to drive a 12 ton, 3-mpg land yacht.

OK, this has degenerated into hogwash. Aside from the absolutely stupid comments, there's nonsense. The comments here represent the worst of philosophy masquerading as knowledge. THIS is what the GOP has to dump! E.g., "one needs to reject the present forms of naturalistic Darwinism," or "I'm not denying climate changes...I'm just stating its direction." I quit.

  5. We have seen the future and he is TruckNutz!

  6. Not sure this is a great idea. Science has a well known liberal bias.

  7. By embracing science one needs to reject the present forms of naturalistic Darwinism... that hogwash is as dogmatic as anything I've ever encountered.

  8. BUT WHAT ABOUT JESUS AND DEAD BABIES FUCK

  9. Scientific American, that was amazing. She should be Ron Paul's running mate in 2012. rEVOLting!

  10. I agree with the basic idea here. We need to embrace and encourage science everywhere and with everyone. Religion shouldn't be a problem, but it often is. I've had many difficult conversations with people of faith about science, I know it can be disheartening. I'm posting a short video which sums up how to talk to christians about science, it works, see for yourself:

didn't huck and McLame team up against Romney or something? Was that ever proven?
Be just like to moderates (but I love flat tax and Chuck Norris) to do that and wipe out a stronger conservative!

  13. Don't forget YHWH!

  14. This post is subject of the SCIENCE virus. WebAdmin has been notified and post will be removed soon. Thank you for ignoring this idea, which was submitted by trolls stealing usernames.

I think you're one of the few "social conservatives" that may actually get the whole government thing. Most ones that I've heard from are actually liberals or clueless in govt policies. All they care about is whether their religious requirements are met. And on that note, I will respect your views on religion (though I may not agree with it). Btw, I'm still mad at Huck's Army. :-)

  19. The motive!
When China sounds like Howard "the scream" Dean about "unsustainable lifestyles", we have a problem!

Interesting that most of the trolls and the youth complain about the GOP fearmongering, but that is exactly what a lot of alarmists are doing in order to move to a more socialistic (am I allowed to say that now? Is Obama or NBC listening?) form of government.

They never consider the total "up-river" costs; i.e., how do you get the ELECTRICITY to the "clean" car? You burn 400 times as much energy and waste it in transformers!
    .
An easy solution to the carbon is Nuclear Power, but Hanoi Jane scared us to death with "China Syndrome" back in the day.

As I said before, localized pollution is the best argument to move away from fossil, not GW!
