      This isnt about forcing ourselves on other nations this is about creating systems in which our values are adopted and can be spread...furthermore, I agree with small government but with globalization if we do not interact with the world we will be dead in the water.

        All in all this is a good one. However defining foreign policy (International Relations, IR) as realism is short sighted. Realism is a specific IR theory that focuses on the state as a unitary actor, that means busisness, NGOs, democracy, do not matter in foreign relations. It is short sighted and died with the cold war. We need a new conservative and viable approach, focused on freedom.
